Recharge “SPUTNIK” contactless smart card

SPUTNIK Smart Card can be loaded with up to 70 Metro journeys (according to applicable rates). The stored-value smart card costs RUB 55 (number of journeys - 0). The smart card can be returned for a full refund within 45 days from the day of purchase. the Sputnik Smart Card’s lifespan is 5 years.

The card can only be topped up online. To top up, please visit the following websites:

- the Metro website at: www.metro.spb.ru (ISPP payment application), no commission fees apply.

- St. Petersburg Bank Internet Banking Application, no commission fees apply (the Internet Banking service is added when a client opens an account.

After topping up this way, you don’t need to go to a cashier station or automatic ticket activator to activate your ticket.  Your ticket will be activated when you go through the turnstile, no sooner than 10 minutes and no later than 30 days after making the payment.  During the period between days 31 and 365 from the payment date, your payment can be activated at Metro cashier stations.
