Station "Zenit" is open to passengers

On June 10, 2021, Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Maxim Sokolov and Chairman of the Transportation Committee Kirill Polyakov, as part of an official delegation, checked the station's readiness to ensure timely and safe transportation of passengers. The delegation members noted that the St. Petersburg Metro is fully ready to work during the days of Euro 2020.

As a reminder, in July 2020, the St. Petersburg Toponymic Commission approved the renaming of «Novokrestovskaya" station to «Zenit". In honor of the reopening of the station, FC Zenit prepared a gift for the fans - an exposition dedicated to football and the blue-white-sky blues.

Eight showcases on the station platforms are decorated with decorative panels with copies of the trophies won by FC Zenit. Among them: USSR Cup 1944, USSR Championship 1984, Russian Championship 2014/2015 and Russian Championship 2019/2020, Russian Super Cup, Russian Cup 2010, UEFA Cup 2008 and UEFA Super Cup 2008.
